Bearing duty in Pumps, Motors & Workshop Equipment
Conveyor bearings here have to survive contamination, shock load and long running hours. Most of their life depends on the seal arrangement, load rating and housing fit you choose.
Beyond the conveyors, every plant runs pumps, electric motors, fans and workshop machines that need deep groove, angular contact and thrust bearings, plus linear guides for machine tools. These positions call for low noise, the right speed rating and accurate fits. Most buyers prefer to source them in the same order as their conveyor bearings to cut down on suppliers and paperwork.
- Use low-noise deep groove ball bearings with the right clearance in electric motors that run at high speed for long hours.
- Use angular contact ball bearings in pumps and spindles that carry a combined axial load, mounted in the arrangement the shaft design requires.
- Specify thrust ball bearings on vertical shafts and in equipment where the axial load dominates.
- For workshop machine tools, match the linear guide rail and carriage series and preload to the existing installation.
